今年六月，美国最高法院裁定，同性婚姻合乎宪法。这一裁决结果意味着同性婚姻在全美50个州全部合法。这一历史性的裁定在全世界LGBT群体内外都引发了热烈的讨论。就这一话题，上海美国中心请来了美国加州地方法院法官David Carter，来为大家解读最高法院就同性婚姻的裁定、美国宪法相关知识以及该裁定对美国社会造成的影响。

Earlier this year, the US Supreme Court ruled thatall Americans have the right to marry, regardless of sexual orientation. This groundbreaking case has been the subject of much discussion aroundthe world, both in and out of the LGBT community.  On Nov. 12 at 6:30 pm,the Shanghai American Center is proud to host David Carter, a U.S. DistrictCourt Judge from California, for a talk about the gay marriage decision, theimplications for US constitutional law and the ruling’s impact on Americansociety.
